Costa Rica has now become a great golfing destination. Guanacaste has built four new courses in the past five years and four more are slated to open in the next five years. Prices are affordable with the average green fee running $50 with cart. Playa Grande is surrounded by three championship courses all 15 minutes away. The Melia Conchal Resort has a Robert Trent Jones II designed, links style course. Penilla Resort is the area's newest course with new bent grass hybrid greens that roll true. The Royal Pacific course is located in Playa Grande's back yard with great rates. All of the courses have no problem with tee times and offer great deals on memberships and sales of lots, houses and condos. See some reviews of local courses from worldgolf.com. |
